It’s no secret that homosexuality is generally frowned upon by Africans, with South Africa being the only country on the continent where same-sex marriage is allowed. Besides Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Lesotho, Mozambique and Rwanda where it is legal without guaranteed protections, homosexuality is illegal in the rest of Africa.
