Many people especially in the African society do not understand what it means to be Transgender. Even in the LGBT community, we find people who are trasnphobic.
Jazz Jennings is a popular American YouTuber and is the star of I Am Jazz. When some Nigerians got wind that the show was going to air on TLC, they got furious and got it banned. Thankfully, Jennings has an outlet to share her story on YouTube and we can all learn a thing or two from her episode titled, ’10 Things You Didn’t Know About Transgender People.’
