Vote for your LGBT Hero of the Year

All Out is celebrating individuals who have shown resilience in the fight for LGBT equality especially on the front lines. The aim is to honour the work they do and in turn inspire others to continue to fight. In the words of Matt Beard:

“At times, it can seem like the odds are stacked against us, but these heroes show that love will ultimately overcome hate.”

Some of the individuals on the list are Isaac Mugisha, an activist who has been helping to rally the Ugandan LGBT community for years around the right to celebrate Pride and Arsham Parsi;  a former refugee from Iran who has dedicated his life and career to helping other LGBT asylum seekers in need. The defiant and brave concert-goers in Egypt who literally risked their lives by waving rainbow flags are also on the list.
