The Rustin Times is collaborating with The Initiative for Equal Rights and we are excited!!!

The Initiative for Equal Rights in partnership with The Rustin Times is starting a monthly conversation meetup called Q Conversations. The Q Conversations meetups are aimed at facilitating dialogues around issues and common topics in the LGBTQ+ community. They will be interactive meetups where everyone present will have the opportunity to air their opinions and learn from each other.

Attendees will be able to share ideas, thoughts, struggles, concepts, and opinions in a safe space. Holding once monthly, each meetup will have a different topic for discussion, and a guest host.

This month’s edition will commemorate Lesbian Visibility Day which is marked on the 26th of April annually. Titled “Being a Queer Woman in Nigeria”, it will hold on the 28th of April at 3 p.m.
