The Equality Hub is looking for QUEER Nigerian female actors. Here’s how to audition

The Equality Hub is a nonprofit organization working to advance the rights and elevate the voices of lesbian, bi, & queer women in Nigeria through visual storytelling. Last year, to commemorate PRIDE Month in Nigeria, The Equality Hub premiered their documentary, Under The Rainbow — a narration of a Nigerian lesbian’s journey of self-discovery.

In preparation for their next production, The Equality Hub released a casting call for Nigerian Queer female actors between the ages of 25 and 30.

According to the official release from The Equality Hub, “We’re looking for young Nigerian actors who are relatively unknown but are very, very talented. Although we prefer actors who live in Lagos, we are open to actors from other parts of Nigeria.”

To apply, send a video monologue — of not more than 2 minutes — to contact@theequalityhub.com

The Deadline for the application is Wednesday, April 15th, 2020 and videos sent in after that date will NOT be considered for the project.

Selected actors will be contacted by the end of April.

May the best one win.
