Africans react to the #FineQueerCouples trend on Twitter.

It’s no secret that homosexuality is generally frowned upon by Africans, with South Africa being the only country on the continent where same-sex marriage is allowed. However the facts didn’t stop LGBT couples from displaying their love for eachother with the hashtag #FineQueerCouples recently.

Even though reactions are mixed, it is good to see Queer African couples displaying affection for each other openly.
